拉克斯·彼得（匈牙利語：Lax Péter，1926年5月1日－），全名拉克斯·彼得·達維德（匈牙利語：Lax Péter Dávid，英語：Peter David Lax），匈牙利裔美國數學家，參與了曼哈頓計畫。研究的領域與成就主要有可積分系統、流體動力學和激波、孤波物理學、雙曲守恆律（hyperbolic conservation laws），以及數學與計算科學等領域。
他被列為ISI高度引用的研究人員[1]。
生平
拉克斯生於布達佩斯的一個猶太人家庭。1941年跟隨父母（Klara Kornfield 與 Henry Lax，都是醫生）移民美國紐約市，並就讀於史岱文森高中[2]。1948年，他與數學家阿內利·卡恩結婚。
1947年，拉克斯獲得紐約大學數學學士，1949年取得博士學位，指導老師是卡特·奧托·佛萊德里克斯。
